Construction Design, CAD and Engineering Internship for Engineering (Civil, Agricultural, Mechanical, CAD etc.), Construction Management, GIS etc. Internship includes participation in various environmental projects, such as; - Caloosahatchee River Oxbow Restoration http://crca.caloosahatchee.org/ - LaBelle Nature Park (Environmental Education Centre) http://www.labellenaturepark.net/ - Port LaBelle Utility System – upgrading of municipal utility system http://www.hendryutilities.com/ List of tasks: - assist in site evaluation, site zoning research, site planning, permitting and project turnovers to construction including photographing/mapping of the surrounding spaces, develop designs; - assist professional architects to produce CAD drawings of various construction types; - conduct Internet research on local legislation and assist in changing the original draft if necessary in compliance with the provisions of law, rules and regulations; - evaluate and recommend use of new technologies;support secure information of various construction permits.
