Fund Raising Organization Management Training for Business Administration, Commerce and Finance, Journalism and Mass Communications students Grad Services, Inc. is a fund raising non-profit company which was formed by SDS to manage fund-raising projects and business arrangements for graduate student groups and educational organizations, including the AEL honor society. It was formed initially under the name NAGPS Services, Inc. as an arm of the National Association of Graduate-Professional Students (NAGPS). At the 3rd National Conference, in 1989, John Capece, a graduate student in engineering at the University of Florida, was elected the first executive coordinator. The primary responsibility of this organization is developing a sale and marketing network for graduate student insurance and other services products. Interns will be engaged in: - Integrating online and offline strategy; - Developing a sale and marketing network; - Creating and maintaining web-sites; - Providing online advocacy; - Planning online fundraising campaigns; - Developing and delivering project proposal for donors; - Assisting with data collection and adding it into the database; - Publishing e-newsletters, blogs, posters and brochures.
