Web-based Data Delivery Systems Internship for Computer Science or Engineering students. Southern DataStream (SDS) serves as a subcontractor in agro-environmental projects running in Florida and maintains an extensive network of remote field data collection stations. For these projects management purposes SDS maintains several web sites and online databases that require maintenance on a daily basis. List of tasks: - Check data input and output (delivered by telemetry system) in online databases daily to detect any malfunctions or other problems; - Handle small enhancements and fixes; - Identify and document potential quality control problems in data delivery, develop new procedures for reducing them; - Test and apply newly developed improvements.
