Internship for Statistics, Science or Engineering student

The field data collection project is an essential component of all SDS agro-ecology research. The main goal of this SW Florida based program is to explore issues of the water quality degrading as a consequence of rapid increase of not sustainable methods in agricultural practices.

The intern will have an opportunity to learn more about environmental and hydrological issues and innovative and realistic approaches that can be developed and used to address similar problems worldwide.

This internship position involves serving as statistical consultant and data analyst assisting to the PhD level scientists and engineers working on this project in various disciplines (soils, hydrology, hematology, animal science, ecology, wildlife, economics, etc.).

The student intern will prepare a report summarizing data analyses performed and results from these analyses that can be used by the scientists.
